The Crux® 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit, filtered by LifeStraw®, carries 2 liters of water that pass through two separate stages of filtration for safe hydration. The Hollow Fiber Filter removes bacteria, parasites, and microplastics, while the Activated Carbon Filter reduces taste, odor, and chlorine. The wide-mouth fill port includes a tethered leak-proof cap and ergonomic handle for a sturdy fill. An on/off lever prevents unwanted drips, and the Big Bite Valve self-seals after each sip. Hydroguard™ anti-microbial technology inhibits the growth of bacteria in the reservoir and tube, and all components are free of BPA, BPS, and BPF.
Assembly is a breeze with an easy-to-load low-profile reservoir baffle and Quicklink™ System that features an auto shut-off to prevent leakage. The Crux® 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit can be converted into a gravity bag by pairing it with CamelBak's Reservoir Gravity Kit (sold separately), ensuring safe and trustworthy filtration for your adventures.
The two-stage filtration system provides comprehensive protection. Stage 1: Hollow Fiber Membrane removes 99.999999% of bacteria (E. Coli, etc.), 99.999% of protozoa (Giardia Cryptosporidium, etc.), and 99.999% of microplastics, filtering up to 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons). Stage 2: Activated Carbon Filter reduces chlorine, removes bad odor and taste, and filters up to 100 liters (25 gallons).
The ergonomic handle and leak-proof cap on the wide-mouth fill port make for a sturdy and secure fill. The leak-proof on/off valve allows you to access water when you need it, without any unwanted drips. The Quicklink System enables easy reservoir removal from your pack, with an auto shut-off feature to prevent leakage.
