The LifeStraw Go Series is the ultimate sidekick for safer, better-tasting water for travel and everyday use. The BPA-free bottle, made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, filters out nasties, allowing you to fill up from airport bathrooms, a tap in Mexico, or a gas station while road-tripping. The advanced 2-stage filter improves taste and protects against bacteria, parasites, microplastics, chlorine, silt, sand, and cloudiness.
The Carbon filter reduces chlorine, odors, and organic chemical matter, improving the taste. The Membrane microfilter, on the other hand, protects against 99.999999% of bacteria (including E.coli and Salmonella), 99.999% of parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and 99.999% of microplastics, sand, dirt, and cloudiness.
The membrane microfilter can last up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 liters), which is about five years of daily use. The Carbon filter, on the other hand, can last up to 26 gallons (100 liters), or about two months.
